CHSM Basketball Program

High School Girls: 7:00-9:00am

14U Boys: 7:00-9:00am

14U Girls: 8:00-10:00am

Possible HS boys and younger boys and girls teams will be determined as practices start but will be in the 8:00-11:00am time block

Fees For 2022/23
-
A $150 deposit is required to hold your spot on the team and will go toward your total player fee
Fees By Age Group:
-
18u - $700 ($600 if deposit is paid by Jul 31)

16u - $700 ($600 if deposit is paid by Jul 31)

14u - $500 ($400 if deposit is paid by Jul 31)
-
12u - $400 ($300 if deposit is paid by Jul 31)
-
10u - $400 ($300 if deposit is paid by Jul 31)

10u/8u Developmental League - $150
*A late fee of $50 will be added after Oct 3rd
Included With Fees:

Fees provide two practices a week throughout the season held by experienced coaches
-
5-8 tournaments (depending on age), including NCHBC District, Regional, and National Tournaments
-
15-35 games (depending on age) scheduled throughout the Houston area
*NCHBC requires a player fee to be paid that is not covered in CHSM fees
Uniform:
-
Each player is responsible for purchasing a uniform ($105 per set if ordered before Oct 15; $125 per set if ordered after). A uniform rep will attend practice to assist in the process.
Fundraiser:
-
In addition to the fee athletes will be expected to participate in the program fundraiser

Individuals can choose to buy out of the fundraiser by paying the $350 buy-out fee

Eligibilty Requirments
Age:

Which age group an athlete is eligible for depends on their age as of September 1st (so an athlete who is 14 on September 1st is eligible for the 14u team even if he/she turns 15 during the season)
NCHBC:
As all of our athletes are expected to participate in NCHBC events, they all must register as an NCHC player and follow the NCHC eligibility guidelines which can be found here:

CHSM Knights Basketball
Our basketball program started in the fall of 2012. CHSM has established itself as one of he most competitive programs in the national homeschool basketball landscape. We have had both girls and boys teams place among the top teams at NCHBC regionals and nationals events over the years. Our 14U girls team were 2023 National Champions, with our 18U girls winning the division 2 national championship. Many of our athletes have also gone on to play at the collegiate level.
All of the accolades speak highly of our coaches, but it is the character of these athletes that stand out the most. This is the greatest achievement our program could hope for.
